Analysis of Delamination Damage and Eigenvalue Buckling of Lap Joint in CFRP Laminates Using Finite Element Method

Delamination damage is a characteristic which observed in composite laminates. can be very disastrous, hence delamination analysis for any CFRP structure necessary. In this paper epoxy carbon woven (230 GPa) Prepreg laminates was used as the adherend and FM-300K adhesive to form lap shear joint. The model created using ANSYS ACP of done 3D non-linear finite element method. Longitudinal buckling load applied study eigenvalue deformation different modes. Adhesive bonded joint made fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) considering flat geometry subjected longitudinal has been investigated. results were obtained 10 modes analysis. Interpretation shows that decreases with increase It also inferred much smaller where occurs two planes. Tsai-Wu failure criterion observe layers laminate structure. Crack Closure Technique find out strain energy release rates. peel stress inter laminar region three dimensional nature.
